The basics
This site is run by UK Microsuction Limited, registered in England & Wales (company number 14296262), at Unit 1a Tuppenhurst Lane, Handsacre, Rugeley, Staffordshire WS15 4EH.
When you book an appointment with us, a contract forms between you and UK Microsuction Limited. Where you're a patient, our clinical duty of care sits on top of that contract.
Booking, cancelling and rescheduling
- An ear wax removal appointment costs £65. If we examine your ears and there's nothing to remove, you pay only the £25 consultation fee.
- Payment is taken on the day, by card or cash.
- You can cancel or reschedule any appointment up to 24 hours before with no charge.
- Cancellations inside 24 hours, or no-shows, may be charged the full appointment fee. We try to be reasonable, life happens.
Who we can treat
We're trained to safely remove ear wax using microsuction, irrigation and manual instruments. We don't treat:
- Active ear infection or discharge.
- A known perforated eardrum or grommets.
- Ear surgery within the last three months.
- Sudden hearing loss in the past week, see your GP urgently.
- Children under five.
If you book and one of these applies, we'll examine you and refer you on. You'll only be charged the £25 consultation fee.
Training courses
Course bookings are taken through our BookWhen page. The terms below sit alongside BookWhen's checkout terms.
Transferring to another cohort
- More than 28 days before your course: no charge to move.
- Between 28 and 7 days before your course: a £100 admin fee applies.
- Within 7 days of your course: a £500 fee applies.
Cancellations
- More than 28 days before your course: a £250 admin fee covers administrative and additional costs.
- Between 28 and 7 days before your course: 50% of the course fee is forfeited. The cost of any equipment is refunded in full.
- Within 7 days of your course: the full course fee is forfeited. The cost of any equipment is refunded in full.
- Failure to attend (no-show): the full course fee is forfeited.
Where any ordered equipment hasn't yet been paid for in full, it remains the property of UK Microsuction Ltd until payment is received.
Waiting list and vacancies
If a place opens up on a sold-out course, we notify people on the waiting list by email before re-listing the date publicly. There's a short window to accept the offer before it moves on to the next person on the list.
Conduct on the course
We're committed to a respectful, professional learning environment. We reserve the right to refuse participation or continued training to anyone who behaves abusively or rudely towards staff, instructors or other trainees. No refund is given if a trainee is asked to leave on those grounds.
The clinic network and social media subscription
Both subscriptions are managed through GoCardless direct debit. There's a six-month minimum on the clinic network subscription; the social media subscription rolls month to month. Cancel either anytime after the initial term by emailing info@ukmicrosuction.co.uk.

- You're welcome to read everything on this site. The text and photos belong to UK Microsuction Limited, please don't copy or republish them elsewhere without asking.
- External maps, booking systems and other third-party tools have their own terms which you accept by using them.
- We do our best to keep information accurate, but we can't guarantee everything on the site is up-to-date all the time. Pricing on the appointment page is the binding figure.
Liability
Nothing on this page limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, those are excluded by law and we wouldn't want to. Otherwise, our maximum liability for anything connected to using this website is capped at £100.
English law
These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.
